Dreamy Office Shelves

I'm in love with those vintage locker baskets. I found some here... but soo pricey! I would love to rearrange these shelves and add those baskets...

Just dreaming, but I'll be keeping a look out at the flea market!

After Work Projects~ cake stand, lavender, and pumpkins

I had a delightful evening tonight! I am on a budget so many of my crafts are being made with dollar store finds. I've also been meaning to plant some flowers lately ...so...

...tonight I planted some lavender....

..decided how I would arrange my dollar store white pumpkins when fall comes around....I love how they look on the fireplace!

And after being inspired by this creative post...I decided to make my own dollar store cake stands...I purchased 2 dollar store candlesticks and a package of burner covers...

I went to work spray painting the burner covers...then I used my hotglue gun to mount the covers on the candle sticks...and finally topped it off by hot gluing a pretty ribbon around it.

I love how they turned out. This is just too easy not to try for yourself!

Hope you're having a wonderful week being blessed by the simple joys of life!

Re-loved Linens

Today I'm showcasing a few Goodwill finds! I've blogged previously about my LOVE of digging through piles of Goodwill linens to find a few treasures. Well here is what I've been blessed enough to dig up the last few months...

Pretty linens with a small price tag is pure bliss! I'm so thankful for the little things in life that God blesses us with.

I luv it!

I was looking over one of my posts today and I noticed this...all the suggested posts matched! The lovely headboards 1..2..3 in a row just made me smile :)

My Latest Find ~ A Goodwill Chair

So my bedroom is in disarray right now because of this beauty....

I saw her at Goodwill earlier today and I just HAD to go back and snatch her up...

I took a bag of coins (poor lady at the counter)... $10 was a great deal though!

And this project will keep me busy for awhile!

My own take on Feedbag Chic

I was in Shelby, NC a few weeks ago visiting my best friend. We dropped by an antique store downtown and I found an old feedbag. I've had a few ideas of what to do with it: make a pillow, cover a seat cushion...then yesterday I decided to try using it as a curtain valance. I'm still experimenting but this is what I have so far!

For now I simply have the curtains pinned up using safety pins and binder clips. It has given me a chance to try a few ideas.

This clip is holding the gathering together...

I'll post a few other ideas later...but for now I am still being inspired by other photos I've found on the web...
