This is my first big project! A few weeks ago we had the idea to turn the tv stand (a desk covered with fabric) into something alittle more modern and aesthetically pleasing.

My friend Jeremy filled in the side and back of the desk and added a shelf. He also used the extra drawers to create a border at the bottom. Cam purchased the cup pulls for $3 each at Lowes and I picked up the baskets at Michaels. We decided to remove the middle drawer and use baskets to change things up a bit.
Here is the process:
Sanded it...
Removed the old hardware, filled in the holes with dap, and drilled new holes in the center of the drawers for the cup pulls.
Once the sides and the back panels were in place, Jeremy added holes for tv/dvd cords.
Did some more sanding and then painted it a flat black.
So happy with the results!
